Elisabeth Von Uhl

ENGL 21007 – E2

160 Convent Ave, New York, NY 10031

Dear Professor Von Uhl:

My name is Javokhir Radjabov in my second semester am a Freshman at City College. I am writing this letter to inform you about my dreams and aspirations regarding my career plans. A short-term goal is to pass my classes this semester and transfer to Grove School of Engineering. This leads to a long-term goal which is to become a software engineer by going into the field of computer engineering. I want to head in this direction because I have and still am growing up with technology and games. This will lead me to create codes and maybe have my own game which will shape the younger generation like it has impacted my life.

The future will hold many unexpectancies. But I know that engineering will help the world with many aspects like digitizing almost everything. A digitized activity has popped up, The Oculus, which is transferring one’s mind to a virtual world. This device is a game set that allows one to interact with the world in it. I experienced this and was amazed at how profound it was. Another amazing invention is the Neuralink by Elon Musk. This allows the user to have a virtual link in his/her mind which can access anything on the web. So, to have these astounding inventions, we need to have engineers build, test, and modify everything so the public has nothing to worry about the creation breaking down.

Sincerely,

Javokhir Radjabov
